Izvoare is in Harghita county, 22 km from Odorheiu Secuiesc, near the Ivo creek in the foothills of the Harghita Mountains. It is situated at an altitude of 795 metresabove sea-level.
It is part of the Zetea commune which is 12 km away.
The size of the yard is approx. 2000 square meters. Here you will find Vendeghaz 1 and Vendeghaz 2, a barbecue, garden swing, well, and pergola.
The house does not have a permanent staff, which allows for plenty of solitude for both you and your family (even pets!).
The accommodation offers an amiable ambiance for those who would like to have a relaxing time or just ramble in the mountains. In the summer the fascinating environment offers lots of possibilities for excursions, recreation, hiking, picking forest fruits, or fishing and hunting. The 140-acre Zetevaralja reservoir is just 9 km from the house. Here you can enjoy swimming, boating or fishing.
The Harghita Mountains are one of the most spectacular mountain ranges in the region. A large network of forest roads and single trails, as well as the superb landscape, make these mountains an ideal place for an unforgettable mountain biking holiday. Hang-gliding is also a very popular (extreme) sport in this region. Harghita countys network of caves provide the opportunity to practice caving. The county can be classified as a center for adventure and sport tourism.
